1969 Mercury Cougar XR7

Wombat:

Tools needed

- 45mm hole saw
- modelling knife
- ruler
- square
- pencil


Mark out the centre of the hole



Dimension A - Horizontal = 210mm
Dimension B - Vertical = 100mm
Hole diameter = 45mm (1 3/4")
(note these dimensions may not be the same as your XR7)


Carefully cut out the hole with hole saw. Go slowly so you don't cut through the vinyl



Do a test fit

Make cuts in the vinyl working from the centre to the edge of the hole to create segments. Fold over and glue to back of hole



Fit the light unit





Test fit into position on c pillar
